The programme committee of the World Congress invites you to contribute to the programme with your abstract. The submission period is open from now until 28 September 2025.

Description of submission formats
Scientific study or technical contribution
A scientific study reveals new findings through systematic research. It is based on clearly defined hypotheses that are examined based on empirical data and scientific methods.
A technical contribution presents innovative solutions, technical developments or advances in the application and implementation of new technologies.
Case studies and examples from science and treatment practice
A scientific case study demonstrates new findings, theories or possible solutions using a specific example. Scientific questions are examined, and conclusions are drawn about larger phenomena or problems by analysing a specific case.
Examples from treatment practice describe practical experiences or challenges in the care of a patient or the use of a system or product.
New: Emerging speakers at OTWorld
Are you an emerging speaker? Are you new to the OTWorld stage? Are you studying or are you undertaking technical training? This submission form is the right choice for you!
Presentation types
A contribution can be presented as a lecture or an ePoster (incl. short lectures). The programme committee will make every effort to assign the contribution to the requested type of presentation. However, it reserves the right to make changes.
Deadline
Deadline for submissions: 28 September 2025
An abstract can only be submitted online via the respective submission form .
Submitter
In all cases, it will be assumed that the lead author will also be the presenting speaker. The contribution must not have been presented at OTWorld before.
Review process
After the submission deadline (28 September 2025) your abstract will be anonymised and sent to at least two reviewers to be evaluated. Based on these evaluations, the programme committee will decide whether to accept or reject the abstract. Feedback on the result of the review process will be provided in December 2025.
