Unlimited Professional Training Opportunities at OTWorld.campus

In workshops, at the lectures or over a game of table tennis, OTWorld.campus offers the next generation a chance to find out about the wide range of professional training and further education opportunities in the fields of prosthetics and orthotics. Educational institutions and young professionals will be getting together in an open and inspirational atmosphere.

The growing shortage of qualified staff is a challenge that also affects the fields of prosthetics and orthotics. In a survey by the "Wir versorgen Deutschland" alliance, 92 per cent of the companies surveyed said they had job vacancies in medical treatment and care. Companies need support particularly urgently in rehabilitation technology and in the workshops.

Specialist firms find themselves increasingly confronted with the problem of finding younger staff and persuading them to stay. If these companies are to continue providing high-quality treatment and care for patients into the future, then they need young talent with a lasting enthusiasm for the profession. The OTWorld.campus at OTWorld 2024 is designed to help meet the challenges faced by the industry as a result of shortages of qualified prosthetics and orthotics professionals. In the OTWorld.campus section of the trade show, interested young adults can find out more about the wide range of educational paths in prosthetics and orthotics, from training as orthopaedic technician, master's programmes and degree courses in prosthetics, orthotics and rehabilitation technology to international exchange programmes.

Universities, colleges, technical schools, and research institutes from around the world will present a limitless range of advanced training and further education opportunities in the dedicated OTWorld.campus section.

Interested educational institutions can find out more about the possibilities and prices here or contact the OTWorld project team directly by email at i.ostermeier-kittel@leipziger-messe.de .
