Premiere: Special Show on Treatment and Care for Neurological Diseases
At this special show, visitors to OTWorld 2024 can expect insights on medical aids and solutions for the optimal care of affected patients. The exhibition incorporates a patient room that provides holistic treatment and care as well as a marketplace offering further information and advice. Additional programme features for visitors include keynote speeches and interactive displays such as a stroke risk check.
Under the patronage of the German Association of Orthopaedic Technology (BIV-OT), rehaVital Gesundheitsservice GmbH is organising its first special show which is entitled "neuroVital" and dedicated to the treatment of neurological disorders. rehaVital, which is also exhibiting at OTWorld for the first time this year, has been successful in acquiring the German Stroke Foundation as its main cooperation partner.
"The German Stroke Foundation is privileged to be a guest of honour at this year's special show dedicated to neurological treatment and care", says Dr Michael Brinkmeier, Chairman of the Board at the German Stroke Foundation. "It is important to us that we show the patient perspective at this exhibition. Visitors to the trade show can find out about our self-help and sports programmes as well as our professional stroke caregivers."

First and foremost, the "patient room" forms the centrepiece of the special show in which holistic treatment and care "from lying to walking" is demonstrated together with selected rehaVital supplier partners using the corresponding medical aids. In addition, manufacturers from various care sectors such as rehabilitation and homecare will provide further information and advice at their stands in the adjoining marketplace.

In addition to the patient room and the presentation by the German Stroke Foundation, a lecture corner will offer keynote speeches by selected experts as well as a stroke risk check and a hemiparesis explorer for visitors in a "self-awareness area".
