OTWorld 2024 focussed on this topic with a special show on aid provision in crisis areas. The central element of the special show was the "Barrier:Zones" exhibition by the organisation Handicap International. It documented the fates of people with disabilities in conflict, war and crisis zones. Also other organisations and associations were showing and reporting on their work on this topic.
