Roliner is the world's first adaptive liner with artificial intelligence. Roliner's machine learning mimics the clinical practice of socket fittings, but without the need for clinic visits. Roliner reads real-time sensor data between the residual leg and the cuff and learns amputee comfort preferences. By continually monitoring trends in amputee patients – including step count, walking gait, leg volume and applied forces – Roliner becomes a dynamic partner that adapts to changing shapes and sizes of the leg over time. This machine learning-driven approach provides a seamless walking experience similar to that of able-bodied individuals and reduces painful fit complications. In contrast to other adaptive solutions, Roliner integrates seamlessly into existing prosthetic cuffs and immediately upgrades them to the state of the art.
