Participants learn about stage-appropriate and guideline-compliant treatment of Charcot foot and diabetic neuropathic osteoarthropathy. A systematic treatment and fitting process is outlined. Participants gain insights into the latest fitting strategies and techniques.

Dabei lernen sie die besondere Situation eines Athleten in unmittelbarer Vorbereitung auf den Wettkampf seines Lebens kennen, ebenso die zielführende und erfolgreiche Zusammenarbeit zwischen dem Sportler, dem Trainerstab, der Medizin und dem Orthopädie-Handwerk.

What can orthopaedic footwear technology accomplish with regard to severe foot deformities in children and during the growth phase? In addition to the functional limitation – the disability caused by the foot deformity – the acceptance of the medical device and its speedy fabrication are also important. These issues are illustrated for the participants based on different indications.
