10:30 AM -
11:45 AM
Fri, 17 May
Short description
Providing fittings for war invalids has been an issue long before the war in Ukraine. Medical professionals and technicians are sometimes faced with new challenges. A holistic, multidisciplinary fitting process encompasses innovative technologies as well as proven medical practices. The goal is to effectively improve participation and the quality of life. Participants learn about the experiences and challenges of medical professionals providing treatment in Ukraine, about organisational, logistical and medical aspects from the perspective of the German armed forces and about the approach in the US to the treatment and rehabilitation of war veterans.
