The evomove® is a device for walking that uses functional electrical stimulation to support neurological patients in everyday life. The custom-made cuff or shorts, with which the electrodes are placed on the skin, can be worn either on its own or in combination with an orthosis. Users appreciate the breathable material and the high level of comfort. Thanks to the individual placement of the electrodes, any muscle group on the leg and even the muscles surrounding the hip joint (Mm. Glutei) can be stimulated via the motor nerve. The heart of the device, the evomove® control unit, has a sensor system for recognizing gait as well as an adaptive algorithm and two channels that can be used to control two different muscle groups. Extensive setting options for the evomove® are made via the evomove® app and enable, for example, precise adjustment of the timing in the step cycle.
