Exomotion® hand one, a technical masterpiece invented by two medical technology graduates and today's founders and managing directors Dominik and Tobias.
What is the exomotion® hand one?
The exomotion® hand one is a myoelectric hand orthosis for paralysed hands. It is manufactured as a patient-specific aid to enable the patient to grasp again.
How does the exomotion® hand one work?
The EMG sensor on the surface of the skin detects the slightest muscle signals. The orthosis control system uses these to control the motors and thus open and close the fingers.
It consists of the exomechanics, the finger slings, a stirrup, a twist lock, artificial tendons, an arm splint, the drives and a sensor.
Who is the exomotion® hand one suitable for?
Examples of conditions for which exomotion® hand one can help are plexus palsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, polyneuropathy, traumatic brain injury, spinal muscular atrophy, cervical paraplegia (complete or incomplete) and others.
